WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A LIVE-IN PET SITTER?

Becoming a self employed house and pet sitter is a great way to enjoy spending time with animals, explore new areas, save on utility bills and make new friends. You’ll also receive a good rate of pay and have your travel costs to and from assignments covered.

As a pet and house sitter you will temporarily move into a client’s home to provide a live-in service for the animals in your care. You will keep to their normal routines in feeding, exercising and grooming, which provides a happy and stable environment for the pets. You will also be expected to keep the house as clean and tidy as it was left by the client and water the plants. With all the love and cuddles that you will provide, the animals will hardly notice that their owners are away!

Whilst on an assignment you must never leave the client’s property unoccupied for more than three hours per day and not at all after 5pm unless carrying out pet sitting duties. The three hours does not include time spent out of the home whilst dog walking etc. So this will leave you with plenty of time free to explore the local area.

Our clients want the very best for their pets and security for their homes. So if you can answer yes to the following questions, we would love to hear from you:

  • Do you love the company of animals and providing for all their needs?

  • Do you no longer want the commitment and expense of having your own pet?

  • Do you have at least 15 years’ experience caring for your own pets as an adult?

  • Do you own your own vehicle?

  • Would you like the opportunity to travel in the UK?

  • Are you versatile and able to cope in an emergency?

  • Are you willing to undertake canine first aid training?

  • Are you a non smoker?

  • Are you responsible, trustworthy, mature, fit and active?

  • Are you willing to apply for a basic Disclosure and Barring Service ( DBS ) check?

  • Can you supply 3 referees?

We will consider all applications, however we especially welcome applications from single people or couples that would enjoy working whilst retired.

We are also very interested in hearing from you if you live in Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Cambridgeshire, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Suffolk, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire, however applications from other areas will also be considered.

If you would like to find out more or you would like an application form, please get in touch

We look forward to hearing from you soon!
