Our pet sitters provide a professional live-in service. Pets stay in their own home so their routines can be followed. Our team are fully insured, Disclosure Baring Services (DBS) checked, Canine First Aid trained and will spend a minimum of 21 hours per day with the pets in their care. We carefully match your pets to the most appropriate pet sitter so you can go on holiday or a business trip knowing your pets and home are in very capable hands!
Alison is the owner of Barnfield Pet Services and has been surrounded by animals all her life. She has extensive experience caring for dogs, cats and small furries, having shared her home with a variety of dog breeds, including sighthounds, show Cocker Spaniels and crossbreeds. She has also rehomed rescue cats and, alongside her husband, fostered greyhounds and lurchers for Forever Hounds Trust and Lurcher SOS.
As a pet sitter, Alison has cared for many different breeds of dogs, as well as cats, small furries and the occasional reptile.
Alison is passionate about providing safe, knowledgeable and compassionate care and continually develops her skills through ongoing education. Her qualifications include Level 4 Canine Coaching (Distinction), Level 3 Feline Behaviour & Psychology (Distinction), canine and feline first aid and dog law and she has also attended a professional dog walking training course.
Now based in Cambridgeshire, Alison is delighted to provide trusted pet care across Cambridgeshire, North Hertfordshire and the surrounding areas, giving you peace of mind that your pets are in caring and experienced hands.
